We are a company of people who believe passionately in freedom of speech and our power as individuals to cultivate our own online presence and control what we choose to include in it. We believe in the power to change the channel and to live and let live if we don’t like what we see. We work hard and care deeply.

WYM’s approach is simple. Provide what we believe empowers freedom in a clean and simple way. A social media platform that is free from the constraints and frustrations of other platforms.
How is my timeline formed?
Your timeline will be just that, a timeline. Posts will appear in the order in which they were posted per time. Therefore, it is organic and is formed by you and your WYM friends.
How do I report behavior I feel is suspicious or that I feel violates WYM’s Terms of Service and Privacy policy?
Easy. Go to the user’s profile and click on the 3 dots and click report user. Know that we will review your report and consider it in light of our Terms of Service and Privacy policy. Merely reporting someone does not mean there will be a result that satisfies you nor does it mean you get to know the outcome. We encourage all users to exercise their right to “change the channel” and to live and let live.
Does WYM police the WYM platform?
No. We rely on users in a crowdsource manner to report other users, if and when necessary and we review and consider all reports in light of our Terms of Service and Privacy policy. Merely reporting someone does not mean there will be a result that satisfies you nor does it mean you get to know the outcome. We encourage all users to exercise their right to “change the channel” and to live and let live.
What is the difference between a feed and a timeline?
A feed is developed by an algorithm to promote and suppress per the algorithm’s specifications, which is controlled by those that control the algorithm. So, you see and don’t see what they want. A true timeline contains posts listed in the order in which they were posted by your WYM friends and the people you follow on WYM. It grows organically and is not manipulated or adulterated by outside influences.
Does WYM encourage my 1st Amendment Right of Freedom of speech?
Absolutely. We encourage your freedom of speech and provide our platform for you to exercise it. That does not mean that your right to freedom of speech does not come with responsibility. You may also, of course, incur repercussions in response to your free speech. We encourage all users to exercise their right to “change the channel” and to live and let live.
What is the political affiliation of WYM?
Unlike other social media platforms, WYM has no political affiliation nor political agenda. What’s more is that WYM encourages and empowers freedom of speech for all, regardless of political affiliation or agenda. We want all sides to enjoy being free and autonomous. WYM has a clear Terms of Service which we will enforce in the interest of all of our users.
How does WYM make money?
WYM makes money through non-targeted, general ads. You will not see targeted ads. This helps keep WYM free for all users.
On which devices can I use WYM?
You can use WYM on all mobile devices and Internet-enabled computers.
How and what can I share on WYM?
You can share any and all content that is in keeping with WYM’s Terms of Service and Privacy on your timeline, one another user’s timeline, in a group or on a page with confidence that it will not be sold, manipulated, suppressed, or promoted by WYM. You and any of WYM’s users can find any other content on WYM through our search feature. You can follow or unfollow any WYM users, regardless of whether or not they are your WYM friend.
How can I see the content of others?
WYM has a unique feature that allows all users to search the entire WYM platform to find content of interest to them. Once you find content you are interested in, you can send that user a friend request or you can follow them. Changed your mind? Unfriend or better yet, just unfollow. You can follow or unfollow any WYM users, regardless of whether or not they are your WYM friend.
Do I own my content?
You own your WYM content and can take it with you at any time.
How are WYM points and merit badges useful to me?
You will be rewarded for your engagement in the WYM Live community with activity points and merit badges from your very first activity. Both points and badges show others your level of engagement and commitment to showing why you matter. At some point in the future, the points feature will be upgraded, adding the ability to redeem points for other online products and services provided through the WYM platform.
Can I cancel or close my WYM account and take down my content?
You do not have to close your WYM account in order to take down content. You are in control of your content and can remove any or all of it at any time. You can also privatize/hide any or all of your content at any time.
